The Heart of Selena is a helps ministry of DIBC established to minister to children, women and their families in memory of Selena Fleetwood and her calling to serve. This is one of our favorite times of the year as we begin organizing donations and purchases made throughout the year for our Christmas Giveaway. In addition to the shoebox giftings sent to New Mexico to be distributed to the children on the Jemez native american reservation, we gift to disaster reliefs, food pantries, pediatric hospital units, fire victims, rehabilitation centers and locally to children and their families. Last year, we were able to distribute approximately 13,000 items throughout the year. This was only possible through generous supporters who donated time and finances.
